Neuromuscular Junction (NMJ)

(1) Long term in vitro NMJ model using nanofibers:
Establishment and evaluation of a long term culture system using electrospun nanofibrous system for the formation of neuromuscular junction, consisting of the design & development of nanofibrous materials and evaluation of cellular behaviors on the corresponding materials.

(2) Humanized NMJ model:
Establishment and evaluation of humanized NMJ model both 2D and 3D using commercially available neural stem cells (NSC) dereived from human iPSCs and human muscle cells. Investigate the effect of biological inhibitors of NMJ formation and stability in the humanized NMJ system.
