Chris Asplund studies our incredible cognitive abilities, their severe limitations, and how we can improve through training or employing strategies. Using primarily behavioral experiments and functional neuroimaging (fMRI), he explores the domains of attention, working memory, and multitasking. After earning his PhD from Vanderbilt University in 2010, he was a research fellow in the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory at Duke-NUS. He became an assistant professor at Yale-NUS College in 2013 and a Primary Investigator at SINAPSE in 2014.
