Tristan is a student working on his Masters project monitoring mitochondrial dynamics in rat DRGs from chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy as well as specializing in live cell microscopy. He is a graduate from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) with Honours, having worked on a supramolecular self-assembled nanoparticle based gene transfection of non-dividing cells. He has obtained the merit award for his Project poster presentation at the BES2016 conference. He has also worked on an internship for the Qiushi Academy of Science at Zhejiang University College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrumental Science and worked with the students working on the Brain Machine Interface of non-voluntary control of rat robots.
