Yu SUN received the B.Eng. Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, om 2005, the Ph.D. Degree in Electronic, Electrical, and System Engineering from Loughborough University, Leicestershire, UK, in 2011, and the joint-Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2012.

Since Sep. 2012, he has been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Singapore Institute for Neurotechnology (SINAPSE), National University of Singapore, Singapore. His current research interest include the area of computational neuroscience, multimodal neuroimaging processing with particular focus on human connectome. Dr. Sun is the Associate Editor of Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing. He received the Best Poster Award in the 2013 IEEE Life Sciences Grand Challenges Conference.
